Version of Invite : 5.x-1.13, the latest available download used, along with php5x

This was working perfectly, I think, even a week ago. While yahoo ( and others, probably ) give no error Gmail fails. The status message shows : Gmail login information is invalid

Has one else noticed this ? Can any one please test and report ?
I have tried on two different servers - same result : gmail contact list is NOT imported.
Has there been any change on the Gmail side, and consequently we need some code modifications here ?

There are some old issues reporting similar problem, but I have used a much later version, and things were working OK till the other day with no changes on the server side or any addition of any extra module etc.

So I am wondering : has there been any change by gmail that is making the gmail importer part of the script not working.
