I hope this is the right area to post, i'm working on a rather large project and drupal is still new to me, i'm slowly getting to know it better and better, but it seems that if I were a full-fledged developer/coder, it'd be a lot easier. If there's anybody who knows drupal very well and can provide some site references, and wants to help me as a consultant, please email me: luyen at randomlink dot com
Thanks!

Drupal Services
You probably won't get a good response with a forum post - you should check out the Drupal Services page: http://drupal.org/drupal-services
These are people that have expressed an interest in doing Drupal consulting. I'm sure there are more that aren't on this list but it is a start. I'd suggest contacting people you think would be a good fit for your project based on their past work (contributed modules, resumes, etc) with a proposal and expected timeline.
If you have specific questions about something, those make for good How-To questions for people to answer.
Also try #drupal-support on IRC
Try asking around in #drupal-support on irc.freenode.net. You may be able to find some contractors there.
