Search module placement

Hey,
When enabling the search module, it shows up on the top of the left sidebar, regardless of where I place the block.
The block does show up where I place it, but the other field just stays in place regardless.
How can I get rid of the field at the top of the left sidebar?

It's a separate setting for your theme. Go to your theme configuration page, and you should see an option to disable the Search form.
