Atom: still attended?

I wonder if this module will be still attended, or won't there be any new releases/features?

• It overrides the "standard" RSS node feed without asking (there should be an option to choose between "RSS", "Atom" or "RSS and Atom" for the standard node feeds).
• The title (the way the feed is called, when you click at the orange icon in the address bar) should be customizable.
• I don't know, if it's possible, but integration with Pathauto would be useful (to fully customize the atom feed url for terms & nodes).
• The standard "Syndicate" block should also offer an atom feed link (again: customizable).
• It would feel "cool" to be able to change the atom feed template online via Drupal interface.
• It would feel nice to be able to choose between the different Atom feed versions.
• I'm not full into Atom, but I think there are several options (which unique sign to use, email address or website url; whether to incluse authors name / mail address; etc.) -> there should be plenty configuration options

If there's interest, I'm willing to create issues for all this points separately & more verbose.

In my opinion, Atom should go to core. Are there any plans?
