After the site times out on 30 seconds on any operation (page, settings savings, etc), the admin navigation menu only has about 10 links, not 25+ it usually has.
Going to /admin/build/menu shows contents of /admin/build, same for other not shown links (/admin/build/modules, for example).
Fresh 6.8 install, WAMP 2.0c, Multi-site on a local computer.
Apache Version: 2.2.8
PHP Version: 5.2.6
MySQL Version: 5.0.51b
Haven't seen this bug on the primary site (one in /sites/default).
I tried searching Drupal.org, but haven't found any solutions to this.
Thanks.

When reinstalling the site, here's the error message that I received after running install.php twice (timed out on the 1st attempt):
user warning: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') ORDER BY fit DESC LIMIT 0, 1' at line 1 query: SELECT * FROM menu_router WHERE path IN () ORDER BY fit DESC LIMIT 0, 1 in D:\wamp\www\drupal6\includes\menu.inc on line 315.

What should I do?
Thanks.

Taron, I've found a post
Taron,
I've found a post that might help you:
Install multisite - sql syntax error - menu.inc on line 315
It mentions an sql problem with:
WHERE path IN () ORDER BY fit DESC LIMIT 0, 1Sounds like it could be a database bug... perhaps flushing the tables halfway through the installation would fix it? (Read the entire post, as I think there is much more detailed information)
MJ
How do I flush the
How do I flush the tables?
The post mentions dropping the tables, but I've already started with an empty database.
I might see the problem in the amount of memory my computer has (256mb), but if it is, then Drupal sites on shared accounts gonna have huge problems.
I have also seen issues like this and other posts, there doesn't seem to be a solution.
For the record:
- I do have cookies and Javascript enabled
- PHP memory limit is set to 128Mb
- a fresh Drupal 6.6 installation, with a new database
For now, I have started a site on Drupal 5.14, which is twice faster to install and it works (plus, has many more modules available). I'll see if I can use Drupal 6.x later (by the time Drupal 7.x comes out, I guess).
It's such a shame that such a perfect CMS is spoiled by an installation problem. I've had higher hopes for Drupal 6, which claimed performance and scalability improvements (some 6.x modules have better features, too).
Thanks for the response, btw.
