When the path is "http://domain.com" the widget works but when the path is "http://subdomain.domain.com" it returns an alert "Karma error: communication(0)".

Hi,

The path really, really should make no difference at all on the widget.
I can't even reproduce this, because the host really can be anything.

Can you please enable firebug and tell me exactly what the error returned by the server is? (Look at the request in the console).

It looks like a Drupal configuration problem.
