Hi

In my last feature request http://drupal.org/node/351537 I was telling about floating and I remembered on another thing I wanted to write.

It would be a another great addon (similar as it is inside ImageAssist) to have for admin in imagebrowser settings option to set some default settings for imagebrowser.
E.g. default image presets, default link to source option (and if you find interesting the feature request above, then option for default floating too).

With these options user hasn't to choose options for image always, but if he/she is ok with predefined options, he/she just click on insert button.
(try ImageAssist if you would be interesting, you could find some interesting ideas there)

I'd like to second that request, it would be very useful to me. Similiar to this request, i would find it useful to have a default filter that is always visible in the image selection dialog. In my case it would be a filter for image albums. It would save the click on the "Filters" button and it would be less confusing for the untrained users.

Good idea. As for filters you can enable this in your view. Just click the 'Remember' checkbox on your exposed filter options.

Defaults for roles have now been added in a dev snapshot soon to be released.

For each user role you can assign: Image Preset, Link Option, (Custom URL), Link Target and Alignment.

If a user has more than one role than they will get the defaults of the highest role ID (the latest created role) <- This isn't ideal but I couldn't see another way of doing it, if anyone knows how to select the 'strongest' role let me know.

I might try ImageAssist when I get some spare time.

predefined options work great, many thanks for it.

These are just a small improvements/ideas what I got when I tried it.

1.
If I have selected option "no target" in the Target selectbox,
then the selectbox "window" has no sense (a little bit missunderstood).
It would be best if this selectbox ("new window type") will be shown only if
selectbox Target hasn't selected option "without target"

2.
The selectbox option "choose imagesize" - is the first option in selectbox.
Wouldn't be better if it will be only text above (e.g. instead word "image" there will be Image: choose size of inserted image or whatever)
Other your selectboxes in imagebrowser have only properties - "no window", "window _top", ... or "no align", "align left", "align right", there is nothing like "choose alignment" in selectbox (what is fine)
If you remove "choose image size" option, then you can remove alert from the code for the case if someone let as selectbox option "choose imagesize" too.

These points are just small ideas for improvement, anyway, ImageBrowser is great as it is now already ;-)
