Hi, guys! I was considering building a site with similar functions as Ratemyprofessors(http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/) and woud like to hear some suggestion from you on the Themes and Modules to choose.

I'm new to website building and now searching for these info so that my partner can build something out of what I can gather.

Another seemingly naive question: we can modify the existed Theme and Module easily, right?

Something tidy and simple would be just fine, say, the front page is like Facebook or Myspace.

Yes, a site like ratemyprofessors.com is certainly possible with drupal. The problem I get from your post is that you have no idea how to do it. That site is complicated, its not a simple endeavor and if your coming here and asking how to build it then thats a problem. It sounds like you need someone with more website experience on your team first.
