Hi everyone,

Ok, I am currently migrating my Google Groups site to a Drupal site. With my current site there is a really cool mailing list that allows members to send out announcements to the group (moderated by the administrator).

Is there a simple solution for this within the Drupal Modules?

I need a module that does the following:

**no separate signup - if your a member of the site, you are a member of the mailing list.
**any member can send an email to the whole group
**administrator moderated - i.e. before and email goes out to the members of the site, it must be approved by the administrator (me).

Is this something that Drupal does already? If so, how can I take advantage of that?

Seems like you need a module called Organic Groups (If you haven't already?) - should do what you want.

I will look into this!

Hopefully it will just enable a sitewide email to go out to all users that all registered users can access. My mailing list has lots of "co-ed team looking for female player for game tonight!" and "keeper needed for my co-ed team this season" as the types of emails that go out.

It seems a bit overkill. Really interesting tool though.

I just need an email address that all registered members can use to email all members of my drupal site, that can be moderated by an administrator.
