Bluehost and Mailman Manager module integration possible?
Hi Everyone,
I've been working on my first Drupal site ever....trudging through the muck of modules, nodes etc.
I've had a few stumbling blocks, but this one is impossible to pass.
I have Bluehost which seems to come with Mailman integrated, ive set up my mailing lists via Bluehost>control panel>mail>mailing lists. Now I am trying to implement the Mailman manager and Mailman user registration module. They finally seem to be working (thank you developer community) however, I think I might have bigger problems as I sign up my "dummy-users" and nothing changes on the Bluehost Mailman Admin Interface (i.e no new users are added).
Does Bluehost support my Drupal server accessing my Mailman server via HTTP? - "For extended functionalities, particularly if your Drupal server can access your Mailman server via HTTP, we recommend installing the related User Mailman Register module as well."

Have you been able to access your Bluehost Mailman mailing list admin pages via a web browser? If so, the answer is yes. You will need the URL from which you are accessing these pages, as well as the admin password(s) for your mailing list(s) in order to correctly set up the Mailman Register module.
Also, if you are setting up dummy users using dummy email addresses, I don't think the typical setup without Mailman Register will work, as it requires the user to confirm his/her subscription, so if the email is going into the ether, the registration is never completed.
