I'm curious if role changes made in drupal are reflected in VB?

Basically, if a user is given a role in Drupal, can that role be reflected in VB.

What I would like to have happen is a follows. A user purchases a role upgrade using ubercart (something I already do on my site), once the transaction is complete, they should now have access to previously "private" forums.

Synchronizing roles would be possible, but is not implemented yet, as it requires a bit of work.
