...all of the themesetting api features that you jam packed into this awesome starter theme? I went to the theme settings page and noticed the additional functionality to edit read more and such. But am unable to see anywhere to edit margins colors etc...

Fixed this it had to do with me ending up with an older version of themesetting and themesettings api. Your theme now works as advertised. :)
