I am getting this error when I have the color.module :NG (http://drupal.org/project/color_soc08) enabled:

You are using an outdated color.module theme. Webmasters: It is possible you have not installed the updated example themes from modules/color/example. Theme developers: You have to update your theme's color configuration. See the handbook.

Please advise.

Painted supports the core color module. It is included in the default module of drupal. I actually didn't even know the existence of another color module, and I don't seem to be the only one, as here is only one theme that support this color module.

There is a handbook apparently, so maybe you could upgrade painted to work with it.

The module is undergoing some merging work to the style module. Don't expect any change of Painted until work is done.
