Hi,

I saw that adding an option for setting the CSS position to fixed is in the works. It would also be nice to have an option to adjust the margins. On my site I use both the Admin Menu and the Navigate modules. When I installed Navigate it covered the first drop down in the Admin Menu, so I changed the CSS to left:25px to shift the menu to the right a little. Now both modules work nicely side by side.

Thanks,
-Chris

Sorry, but there are two reasons why this feature request won't fix:

a) Both modules are overlapping feature-wise. Most probably only a very small minority of people has the idea to use both modules at the same time. Also, if we would add exceptions for Navigate, then we would also have to add further ones for Super Nav, Nice Menus, and all the other administrative UIs in contrib.

b) As with any other module in contrib, there is always the chance that some modules will clash with the default behavior of another module. If one experiences such a clash, but needs those modules, then one needs to customize the default behavior of the affected modules accordingly (as you did).
