Description

Hi,

I have been using this module, loving it, and it has been an indispensable feature of my sites.

I am actually still using Collections (only recently upgraded to a server with PHP 5.2 so couldnt use blueprints till now and haven't tried it yet)

This question would belong in OG_Collections, but I doubted that people are still responding there. Don't know if it might be relevant here in the updated module.

When I add a new content type designated as an organic group (group node) the new group type doesnt appear as one of the tabs for editing the panel layout by group type. (in collections settings, Enable-Templates by type is selected)

I have tried a number of things to see if I could trigger OG_Collections to recognized the new group.
1) editing and resaving the group content type
2) disabling, but not uninstalling and re-enabling the OG_Collections module
3) performing an update.php site update
4) disabling and then re-enabling "Enable - Templates per Type" in collection settings

I looked at the associated database tables ... and, sure enough, og_collections does not contain the new group.

Any Ideas, Workarounds?

Do I need to repost in the deprecated collections issue queue?

I'm very glad to hear the module's workin out well for you :)

Unfortunately, though, the Collections code is so old and crufty that I literally have no recollection of how I even made it grab a list of group types in the first place. I can't even remember what major things changed between Collections and Blueprints anymore. Reposting to that module's queue will just get you the same answer from me :)

I'd really advise trying to upgrade and working from there. It's a bit of black magic that goes from Collections to Blueprints, so please make sure to do a good backup and let me know if you have problems, but I really just have no idea what kind of handling I ever did write in to Collections for the kind of case you're describing.
