Upload Module Compadability

After installing this module (which I was very pleased with) there were a few things that were disappointing. I was under the assumption that this module would simply add (and subtract) files from the upload module's php array instead o creating a new one. Also, I could not figure out how to actually attach a file. I was excited that you could create a hierarchy instead of using one flat directory (huge thumbs up), but I was also expecting to be able to attach files to a node using the File Manager interface. I have already enabled the setting on my content type and I was logged in as admin, so I don't know what I was doing wrong. Thank you for taking the time to create this module, it's a huge success as far as the many great features you've introduced.
