Doesn't appear to have an option to disable Normalize author names when displaying biblio records. Will it require the Biblio Normalize module to disable normalize? Any other way to accomplish this in the meantime?

Normalization is not required any more, but I'm guessing that you are wanting to display full names rather than just initials? This would be a styling issue which is controlled/changed in the biblio_style_xxx.inc files. In all the biblio_style_xxx.inc files, there is a function called _xxx_format_authors() which does the actual formatting of the output.
