Description

I have a free tag vocabulary which, as one might imagine, is very long and expands over multiple pages. My problem is that any selection I make on one page does not transfer over to another page when selecting items to merge. The only solutions I could think of is either all an option to display all tags on one page or make a table where selected tags are added to be merged across pages.

I agree, this is really needed, as sometimes merging is impossible cause terms are on multiple pages. I was going to post exactly the same thing!!

Is there any way we could have all terms on the same page, that would be a good workaround!

There is a way to increase the pager count. By default 50 terms are shown on one page. You can increase this number up to 500. Go to Administer -> Site Configuration -> Taxonomy Manager -> Pager Count.

I hope this information helps you

I also have a free tag taxonomy with a couple thousand terms. There is no way currently to merge, for example, alpha and gamma, because those are more than 500 words apart. That means this is really a bug and not just a feature request.

The double pane function already works with the same taxonomy in both panes. One option would be to enable separate pagers for each pane, so that I can find alpha in the left pane and gamma in the right, and then merge. Thanks.
