HI
can i use this functionality for the profile fields that i use in registeration form..i need the same functionality of ajax validaion for the username and the other profile fields..any suggestions..?

you can't use this module for that, just username, but other modules may exist, especially if you used a cck field and content_profile instead of the rather deprecated profile module. Sorry i can't help you more. If you found a solution, please post it back for the next person.
