sakib000 commented1) You should set a mission statement by visiting admin/setting/site-information and it should appear
2) Enable search module and set appropriate permission

olsondavida commentedI can confirm that with the search function enabled it does not function properly.
I enter in a word, click search the screen refreshes to the same screen.

keebo commentedI'm not sure that the search box built in to the theme is working like it should. Entering a term in the search box and clicking search just brings up a blank search page where the user would have to re enter the search term. This really seems like a waste of time and may confuse some users into thinking that search isn't working.
Am I missing some configuration setting somewhere? Also, it seems redundant to have to enable the system's search function, thereby resulting in 2 search boxes on the page.
