Module seems to depend on devel?

Great work - thanks for this module!

Just one small complaint:
It seems that the staging module depends on the devel.module to work properly. At least, the "devel_db_query()" function is called but not defined in the module. If staging is meant to depend on devel, the dependency should be noted in the staging.install file to keep people like me from installing staging as a stand-alone and wondering (for a couple hours now) why the module is not working. Thanks!
