Please help. I have never had this happen. I have a new install ready to go live. Anonymous user permission is set to allow access to content, comments, etc. but no matter what, visitors cannot access any content or menus. Message is access denied!

I'm on Drupal 5, but the 3 troubleshooting methods I always try first are...

  1. Go to administer>site building>Views. Click on the tab for Tools and 'clear the Views cache'. Try again. No results?
  2. Log out. Clear the cookies and cache in my browser. Try again. No results?
  3. Run the 'update.php' script.

Is this related to the user_permissions module (if not, this is the wrong place to ask), or is this just a general Drupal permissions problem?
