Title: Page seems to be broken » Open "Adding a New Field" pages for editing
Assigned: paganwinter » Unassigned
Priority: Minor » Normal

The pages are http://drupal.org/node/162247 and http://drupal.org/node/162248

It seems that either the "php" input format were used on these pages to insert the forms or Full HTML to add the forms. Forms here aren't necessary. They're not working anyway. Wouldn't it be better to use screenshots instead? Use the "documentation" input format?

The right sidebar goes down on IE and Chrome and only people with php/full html input format rights can edit the pages.

@JohnNoc, agreed. If we can get some screenshots taken to put on the pages, I can swap them out and lower the format.

These pages are also out of date -- they apply to CCK version 1. CCK version 2 looks totally different, and has a different work flow for adding a field.

What should be done? Leave the Version 1 stuff there (with some screen shots instead of embedded forms) and add a new guide for Version 2? Have both versions on one page?

I'm not sure what the plans are... There aren't any relevant issues in the CCK issue queue's Documentation component either, that I can see. ???

If they are invalid, then Move the pages to archive...

I see, yea... the author of this page created a form. We need this editable. Cut and paste the form that he made into images, and then put the images up instead of including HTML...

I worry that this maybe a security issue...

Here is a screen shot of the existing form.

Someone with super-admin priveleges should now be able to put this in the page in place of the existing form.

Nice Screen Shot.

The document should be changed to be editable by regular admins after this image is added

I replaced the first image that is attached and removed the form from the second one altogether. I changed the format to doc team on both so if anyone wants to do more with them, have at.
