I created some custom blocks using Views, however when I assigned them to the region. I noticed that the name was carried over from the alpha numeric Title field.

I was hoping to change this so I could allow users to allow which blocks they would like to view with it being a user friendly Title.

I went to my Blocks link and clicked configure for the blocks in questions however the Block Description field was no longer present (as you would see when you are adding new blocks)...

I then went to views to see if I could override with a new description but the changes I made there are only for the Views description area.

Anybody know how I might be able to change this? Should I just use phpMyAdmin and change it in the DB?

That is what the Title field in the Block section of the view is for. The description directly below that reads:

The title that will be shown at the top of the block. May be blank.

The Description field in the Basic Information section is for:

A description of the view for the admin list.
