I really like this theme.
Is it possible to change the background color easily?

Hi, thanks for your feedback.

To change the background color, on line 163 in style.css (just after the "Page Design" comment), you'll find the line 

body{color:#535d66;background:#fff;}

just chnage "#fff" to any other color value (a good reference chart - http://www.somacon.com/p142.php).
