Publish Content to Multiple Webpages

I'd like to divide up my story listings under the taxonomy tags so that 5 stories appear to a webpage.

I'd also like to have the option of dividing up story content in the same manner.

Is there a module or method of achieving this in Drupal?

at the bottom of the actual article, there are numbers which lead to the other SECTIONS of the WHOLE article.

I find this extremely useful because it allows me to embed ads more frequently and removes the need to constantly scroll down to read entire stories.

The Views module alone seems to mostly pertain to lists of content links and the flexibility of using them as blocks. Is there some other module that could be paired up with this to create the effect I'm looking for?

I have never used it myself though, so I wouldn't know if it is suitable.
