I added a cck image field in event and everything seems to be working properly until an image with an underscore in the name (ie. "image_name") was uploaded into that field. It no longer displayed this image even though it showed it name in the node/edit form.

When I removed the underscore with the same image everything was back to working fine.

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
