If I hit a 404 - Page not found on drupal.org (just try anything: http://drupal.org/examplenonexistentpage ), I immediately want to search Drupal for it. However, the search form can't post to a page that isn't there, so I get 404 again!

Of all the pages that has a search form, I would expect it to be most needed on the Search page, yet it isn't working.

I don't know where to subit a bug report for the website, so I'll put that here for now and hope someone sees it...
