I am using Drupal 6.8 and have the latest version of Location and GMap module loaded. When I view any map with on my site, the marker balloons, do not work well. Normal gmap balloons have the whit background and text clearly visible. For some reason my balloons are showing a grey background with white corners. I have attached a screenshot for reference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!
I'm completely aware of time this issue has been created and I believe you already found solution for this, but maybe this will help some other people who have such problem: check your styles if you haven't accidentaly assigned background color to DIV or IMG elements inside #content etc.
