Copying Menu Items to Another Menu

I have some pretty huge menus that I would like to duplicate with some minor changes. How can I copy the items from an existing menu to a new one? I thought there would be an easy way to do it without digging through the database, but now I'm not so sure.

Surely someone a lot smarter than me has needed to do this!
