Menu Block Split, why isn't it working?

dtrcait - January 9, 2009 - 16:29

I am new to programming in general, I just resently picked up this job which requires a certain amount of website design, this includes drupal. I find this site a lot better then Wordpress by far. However it took me a while to figure out what programs I needed to install a module. I've finally successfully installed a Menu Block Split module that is compatible with 6.x. I finally found the icon on the menu after I enabled it, I went through and made a test split block of my right side menu trying to make one block split or even two if the one wasn't working. Each time it was saved and it came to no avail, no menu or anything, I even tried it under different themes thinking maybe the setup couldn't support it...but now I'm at my wits end. I tried first to install a drop down called lucid_menu however I didn't understand the compatiblity and so I was unable to use the module, this is my second try for an updated menu list and I don't know what to try from here. Help Please!!!

This program's menu configuration is a two parter.

First Part
You make a Menu Block. This block will be one level of a menu system. So you might assign Primary Menu to a Menu Block. Then the Secondary Menu to another.

Second Part
You have to assign each of the blocks made by the module to a region of your page. Usually you will assign a block to either the left or right sidebar. Once you assign it to a sidebar, you will need to assign it a weight to place it vertically within. All of this is handled on the blocks page.

I updated the module Menu

I updated the module Menu Block Split with a 6.x-2.x release which should be working fine.
