Hello,

I have read quite a few posts about integrating a CRM into Drupal already and came to a few conclusions. It seems we are limited to the type of CRM clients that we can use with Drupal. I have already been using SugarCRM CE for a while now locally within the office here but I wanted to integrate a CRM into our web server so it can be accessed outside the office.

My main questions then is, if I were to continue using SugarCRM outside of Drupal on the same web server would that conflict or reduce the performance of our web server?
My second question is, is anyone using CiviCRM and how are you liking it?
If anyone has used both Sugar and CiviCRM, can you give me your thoughts on the comparison between the two and which you would probably go with?

I am currently in the process of deploying a site with CiviCRM on Drupal 6.x. The interface between the two seems to be working fine, insofar as users are correctly shared/updated between the two etc... Can give more information as goes live later this month and the CRM features are deployed on a staged basis over the next couple of months...

If you could post your thoughts and issues with your build as you come across them maybe we can tackle some of them together if we are having similar issues.
What I am trying to achieve in my Drupal installation here is an integration between Drupal, CRM, and a Wiki.

Drupal to act as the backbone of the installation and to manage our website,
CRM to manage our business and employees which will also link out to,
Wiki, which will act as an internal database for our business information so it is easily readable and not available to the public.

I understand that the Wiki is something of a struggle with Drupal so that will be the most challanging. I am hoping that this CiviCRM meets all of our needs so we can focus on changing over to the new CRM once it is deployed.

If you are interested in any of this I can keep a log on my progress to share. Otherwise any collaboration to make the change over to CiviCRM if it works for us would be great.
