Hi, I'm a complete newb.

I'm trying to aggregate the xml feed found on physicspost.com. When I go to the page, it has a .php extension. I put this address into my aggregator url list, and it updates with crontab okay, but will not yield any items. I have another feed from archinect.com which has the .xml extension and it works, so I am assuming it has to do with the .php extension.

Help?

I use the module aggregator2, http://drupal.org/node/32775. It handles .php rss feeds just fine.

Help for newbs seems so hard to come by anymore...

How can you say help is hard to come by when you got your answer the same day you posted a question? Was my answer not clear enough? Did you want someone to walk you through step by step?

Ha! No, actually I meant that on some of my other posts it felt like my stupid newbie questions were being ignored. And maybe they were. It's better that way because it forces newbies to learn how to actually figure things out instead of relying only on the forums. I'm learning a ton, and having fun too.

I simply meant that I was surprised at your rapid response. The aggregator2 install was easy once I had the right version of drupal running.

Alrighty. I just wanted to make sure we did not have a misunderstanding. There are many of us that pop into the drupal forums every now and then to try to give back. With any luck - skill - patience, you'll get there too
