I was hoping to modify the css for the garland theme to change the color of the primary links, but I can't seem to do it. The permissions or something are wrong. Also, I tried to change the permissions and got some error. I was trying to modify the garland-1cef1cfb/style.css file.

Color module
Colors in Garland are managed through the color module in the administrative interface. The color module writes the style files (using the webserver's uid), which is why you can't just reach in there and change them while logged in as a normal user.
Does that mean that I can't
Does that mean that I can't change the color of the primary links, for instance? Could I edit the default css, and then set it to default? The color module is too limited for me...
