this causes the system to believe that I still have version 6.10. I suggest simply fixing the the tarball and not passing out yet another patch. if you have this same problem, I recommend simply editing the file.

Thanks for pointing this out. There were quite a few other files missing as well so I decided to make a new release anyway as it would confuse the hell out of anyone downloading for the first time.
