hi guys
I was wondering if its possible to increase (or at least give the inclusion) the speed of the drupal site with front page
example:
the user come to the site the front page display a simple html so that while the user is reading the page the rest of the drupal site is caching or loading so that when the user click on a link like get inside the site
The site appears to be fast.
I don't know if I am clear enough

dublin drupaller commentedThat's a great idea, wallbay.
The load time for Drupal is a big drawback...even with a small amount of modules enabled and I notice Drupal 6.x is slower than version 5.x regardless of how much memory you allocate or even moving hosts to try and improve performance.
I haven't looked at drupal 7.x yet, so perhaps that has more attention on efficiency and speed, but, for the duration.. can I suggest you check out the boost.module to see if that offers an option?
