I've been using this module for a while and have made a Drupal 6 port. It seems that this module has been all but abandoned by it's creator, yet there are over 100 people still using it (at least, no support requests are being answered and no patches being applied in CVS). Please can you give me CVS access so that I can bring this module back to life?

I am currently adding some functionality to this module for a client and will have some patches. I would be interested in helping maintain if any additional hands are needed.

Basically I needed more functionality than this module provided so created a fork. My fork is for D5 as my client is still running it. Would you like to work together and combine my fork with your D6 release?

I'll be posting my work here http://github.com/ngmaloney/countries_api/tree/master until we can get CVS access.

@ngmaloney: I have just been granted CVS access to this project and would like you to grant you CVS access on it too. However, it seems as though you don't yet have a CVS account on drupal.org. You need to apply for that first. Details of how to go about this are here: http://drupal.org/cvs-application/requirements.

Point them towards this thread and you should have no trouble getting an account.

Give me a shout once you are on board :)
