The link to mark a comment as the best reply shows to authors under the comments on all content types, regardless of the settings. I've tried with 5.x-1.0 and 5.x-1.x-dev with the same results.

Running Drupal 5.14.

The bestreply link now does not show up at all on any content types regardless of settings.
