I've been using drupal for a couple weeks now, and mainly just fooling around with it, using tutorials, and installing modules. I believe i've been able to install the CAS module properly and enable it on the modules page in the admin controls but for some reason when i logout to use the CAS login, i get this forbidden page. Other information, my drupal site that i am playing around with is on my localhost via wamp server. Am i just missing something? Or is this problem bigger than i think it is? Please help.

Not a big issue but you might consider setting the redirect on logout setting to go to apage that anonymous users have access to.

i thought that i had configured the permissions correctly to allow anonymous users access to the CAS login, but i will take another look. thanks

I am almost positive i gave anonymous users access to my site's content and views and still i get this error. Any other advice?

Hmm... Let me make sure I fully understand. What is that url when you get the access denied page. And it's a drupal access denied page, is that correct? (not one from apache)? And the access denied message comes when after you see your servers cas login page, or when you do a cas logout, or what?
Also are you using the drupal logout menu item or the Cas logout menu item?
If you'd be willing to send me your CAS settings, I'd be happy to try and help troubleshoot further.
