After testing a half-dozen content management systems, I finally settled on Drupal. Of all, it was the friendliest to adapt - both system management and theme creation - for my wireless news site, Wi-Fi Report.

Wi-Fi report uses a customized version of the box_cleanslate theme. I've dumped most of the menus and blocks, in favor of advertising support and an even more streamlined appearance. These forums were a great assistance, particularly since I'm neither a graphic designer nor programmer.

all i see are some links from google adsense and other referral programs that are tight together around wifi as well as lots of links to domain name registration. are you quite sure you want us to report on that site?

mind you: this looks more like a spam posting to me...

This is defiintely a SPAM listing trying to generate traffic to the site.

Actually, it was a munged URL. The site's *name* is Wi-Fi Report. The site's URL is http://www.wifireporter.com -- which isn't the same as the the register site.

yes, this is a drupal site and it shows.. standard layout, standard theme. good content though...

As a news site, I concentrate on content. Since I'm not a graphics designer and built adapted the theme myself, I chose a simple background that best supports text. Is being noticed as a Drupal-made site bad or good?
