Ordering of fields in user profile

The checkbox to optionally hide users age or not appears at the top of the profile group during registration instead of at the bottom of the date field where I would expect it to be. I set my date profile field to be entered on registration and when i enabled the bithdays module to use the date field it drops this nasty checkbox at the top of my custom profile fields during registration asking whether the age should be visible. Is there away the order of this field can be set permanently at the bottom of the date field or better still allow users to be able set the ordering of the checkbox themselves. I'm using drupal 6.8
