What do you think about this Photoshop Profile Wall Mockup?

It would be great if such a module gets developed. I do know that there is a guestbook module available but it doesn't feed the needs.
- a wall module should be available as a block so you could place it anywhere through views/ panels
- a wall-to-wall feature is very handy (listed wall conversation between two users)
- notification when someone posts on your wall (compatiblity with the existing module)

Guestbook
I think the guestbook module is the best place for this. Writing another module would end up duplicating too much functionality. Just because guestbook doesn't do it _now_ doesn't mean it can't.

The problem is also that the "guestbook" module doesn't let you write on your own guestbook which I think is mandatory.
Why?

That would be better off using something like facebook statuses or similar. Mixing that into the comment wall doesn't make a lot of sense.

No, its not about commenting
No, its not about commenting to myself but sort of a wall and twitter feature combined. The status module let's you only write one sentence. I have seen that on other social networks and I liked it.
But maybe you are right that this doesn't make sense.

Sounds kind of like a mini blog. That might be a nice thing to have, but I wouldn't mix it in with the guestbook/wall. I think that would get too confusing.

Makes kinda sense
In my experience walls are always used for asking "How are you doing?" etc. and it would be nice to reply right there, not on the other persons wall. I usually never write anything on walls in Facebook, prefer using statuses and replying to them.

i tried the guestbook module, it feels good for me except for I cant seem to find where to see my own guestbook mensages...
how can I do this???
