I think you would want to
I think you would want to use the Minnelli variant of the Garland theme, to have a fixed width theme. Right now the garland theme is fluid width so it will stretch to as wide as your browser window. The site you showed as an example was a fixed width theme, so it will stay the same width no matter what size browser window you have.
