Ladies and gentlemen the OwnAFilmCompany.com web site has been rebuilt using Drupal 6. The site is now live, so check it out and let me know what you think. There is still more to come and several community modules will be added.
The Own a Film Company Concept:
The aim is to get 100,000 people together to fund a low budget feature film. Anyone can join - film fans, film students, film professionals - basically anyone that would like to have a hand in making a feature film.
Once 100,000 people have registered, everyone will be invitated to become a paid member and shareholder. Members will vote on the film script, main actors, crew, and the soundtrack.

I think it's a great idea to get this working. Here are my 2cents to the scope of potential
a. design of the website could be improved to suit a bit of advertisement and sponsors space
b. exhibiting demo reel of your production could be of great interest
c. SEO make sure the entire website is search engine friendly
d. there are quite a few usability issues (specially when on registers - looks very drupal, i know there's nothing wrong in it but it could be presented just a little better)
Truly this is a good start, I better review your website frequently :)

Early days
There is still plenty to be done that's for sure! It would also be good to get the community aspect developed so that students and the like can actually promote themselves and make contacts etc.
Any more ideas are always welcome :)
