Great module! Aside from general "themability" (and/or views integration), checkbox support for "use taxonomy images" would be very helpful. Views support would probably take care of this, as well as allow selection of various Imagecache presets.
At a simple level here though, Taxonomy Images would be a great start. Thanks!

Can you explain what is "taxonomy images"?
Given my current working schedule, my plan is currently to work hard or the directory module in February. It could be later, but it also be sooner if people provide patches and/or charitable support. Financial support is also an option.

It is another module that lets you assign an image to a taxonomy term. Then you can use them as category icons, etc:
