& does convert to & in "alternate text" but it doesn't get converted to & in "title" when seen in "html source". I checked if this was an error with imagefield but actually turnout to be a problem with lightbox2.

Actually, I was trying to "validate" my webpages through w3.org where I found this minor error.

I dont think validation problems are minor... (in terms of priority, but yes, minor perhaps in terms of how easy it is to fix)
