Please tell me how can I

1) Hide format tips.
2) Hide more format tips link.

I am afraid it is not quite clear how to do this in the Readme.txt

If you follow the very first step in the Simple 4-step usage section:

1. Go to user permissions (/admin/user/permissions) and set your permissions.

You will see that you hide the tips and tips link by removing those permissions from the roles you wish to hide them from.

readme needs improvement, not easy to figure out where to go to disable the tips, won't hurt if you add something like this:

To
Hide format tips.
Hide more format tips link.
Go to user permissions (/admin/user/permissions) and set your permissions for better_formats module.

If you follow the instructions, it is really easy. Step one of the usage instructions is to "Go to user permissions (/admin/user/permissions) and set your permissions." And the permissions are labeled appropriately.

I think that is more than sufficient and that only people that do not read the instructions or choose to not follow them, which I have not control over, will fail to operate the module effectively.

However, since a little text in a readme file doesn't hurt anyone, I will put a further not in the usage notes section.

thanks, actually there is a case when someone installs the module and configure it, then only after some time he decides to remove format tips, he searches around in module setting tabs and can't find the option, then he looks at the readme and it is not helpful as he is not going into installation process anymore. also the case when the admin and end user are different people. i think putting a link to permissions in setup tabs of this module will make it much more end user friendly.
