I had my hosting company (SiteGround) install Acquia Drupal. The next day, I had them download and install the Newswire theme. Both Newswire and Garland are showing as "configured" at the same time, even though Garland isn't even checked as enabled. The problem of two themes being configured at the same time didn't start till after the Newswire installation. Is this an issue with Acquia Drupal's Garland, with Newswire not knocking out the other configured theme when it is enabled, or a problem with how my site hosting company did the installation? Thank you for any help on this.

Jeff Burnz commentedIt may be caused by running the Update (such as when you install an updated module you might run the Update), there is a fairly well known bug that can disable themes, yet they are left as "default". Bascially just enable Garland again and disable all other themes, then re-enable Newswire and set as default - this hopefully will clear things up.

kelleyhg commentedThank you very much for your reply, JM. I tried the suggestion but still saw Garland configured even though it wasn't enabled. I discovered that the problem was that I had chosen Garland as the default Adminsitration theme. Once I unchecked that, it eliminated the duplicate issue. Thank you very much for your help. This is truly a great community to get answers so quickly from helpful people.
