tagging people in photos?

Hello,

I'm guessing the taxonomy module will be used for this concept but is it possible to tag User Nodes on photo in Drupal?

Ideally, by clicking the persons face and then typing the name of person? Actually... like how facebook does it... A box would be great as well.

A simpler way would be to just add the users username to the photo.

The important thing is so that each user can see what photos's they've been tagged in.

Image module is...

Hi,
But image module is for uploading images for a website..But i am developing a social networking site where any user can create his own album..Can u please suggest any module for annotating the photos uploaded in album?? I am using Gallerix module for creating albums and uploading photos to them...

as i don't know more about php or js, but i can explain others, how they can make a module for this kind of feature.
Since there are many modules for serving same kind of functionality. but neither one for this purpose, i know many of people are looking for this feature. so if any one who knows programming, i can tell how he could make this.

with this two tools you can tag faces on image but for user references functionality you must have to use user references field or Tag User module.

AKA : write a module by using one of tool, that i mentioned above & then integrate it with user references field or Tag User module. ]
