Hello,
I've not done much with Drupal but from the reading it seems you can order nodes in Views.
Is it possible to randomly order the selection of nodes?
Or is there a workaround such as a assign a random number to a node each time it's viewed and then order by that field?
Thanks,
N

Yes, you can do this with views-- just set the sort order to "random".

And if you set the number of items to 1, you end up with a random item from that view. Useful for random photos or quotes types of blocks.

Look for "Global: Random" not "Random"
For anyone as dense as me: When choosing the Sort Criteria, the 'Random' option is in the (alphabetically sorted) list as "Global: Random" not "Random" as I has assumed. It took me a while to find it.
